Final Exhibition

Some really wonderfully evocative art with great lighting throughout. In each storyboard frame, I always knew exactly where to look because of the composition-- and they weren't all your normal framing techniques, either! Very creative. The exploration of superpowers being simply a curse, and an extension of the pain and overwhelming loneliness Ashley was already experiencing is very interesting and unique. I think the feelings this character has are very relatable to this generation of youth, and the message is very empowering for those who hope their future can be brighter.

Your story has a really strong and relatable moral. That's a great pillar to build on. I would like to learn more about the world your character lives in. The fact that she has powers, as many in her world seem to, felt like it came out of left field. It would be helpful to build out a little more detail about this world before that revelation. Another place where more movitation could help is when the government helped her overcome her obstacle. How exactly did that happen? Why the government? Please continue to work on your story -- it has a lot of potential!

I absolutely love your art style and I think your use of lighting really conveyed a sense of drama to your piece. A bit of more background information about your world would've been nice, but it wasn't totally necessary as you were able to patch up the holes. Your messaging is surface level, but also deep, delving into both halves, which is impressive. I think your work is beautiful and you should be very proud of it. :)
