Melody the Mermaid

these drawings are very cute! I would increase the volume on the clips though, its kind of hard to hear you even though my volume is at the max.

I really like the general theme of two characters from different cultures trying to learn about each other; it's very timely. The world could sure use more of that kind of compassion and understanding these days. Like Lauren, I was left with a number of questions, which is a good sign that the story opens up a lot of different possibilities. One thing I was particularly wondering about is what the rich man felt he gained by releasing Melody. You have a line about finding more mermaids, but I'm not sure how that helps the rich man.

Your drawing and narration are very well done! The story is so cute and depicts friendship beautifully. I also enjoyed the extra detail you added by using music and sound effects. It helped take the story to the next level. Amazing job!

This is a wonderful story about friendship and the goodness of people. I really love how you captured their characters' personalities and some of your fram compositions are very well done. Your sound effects were great! I would have loved to have seen more conflict in the story. What did Lily's father do when Melody didn't return with more mermaids? How would he have reacted had he known his daughter was befriending Melody? Did other fishermen try to capture mermaids? It would be interesting to see how these new friends deal with the outside world trying to tear them apart and exploit the mermaids. The story has some great potential and I hope you decide to develop it futher. Good work!
